It is his best tally in a season since making his debut in 2022 and included a goal in the FA Cup final win over Manchester City.

The Argentine also provided five assists, but club-mate Diallo is confident he can reach new heights next season.

It's a combined total that would surpass the 20-year-old's current all-time record of 15 goals and nine assists.

However, Garnacho is already an established regular in the first team and therefore has the potential to improve his numbers even further.

The Argentine was an ever-present in United's starting XI last season, although he found himself in hot water after liking a social media post criticising his substitution in a Premier League game against Bournemouth in April.

Manager Erik ten Hag revealed Garnacho apologized and the couple put the incident behind them.

United fans will be hoping he can impress again in the new season following a lack of action over the summer.

He was part of the Argentina team that won the Copa America, but only played one match: 66 minutes of their 2-0 group stage win over Peru.

However, Garnacho is yet to return to pre-season training as United prepare for the start of another campaign.
