Real Madrid porter Andriy Lunin makes a key call on his future at the end of the season.
The Ukrainian international has established himself as Madrid's No.1 from the start of 2024 despite by Carlo Ancelotti the planes of rotation.
Ancelotti initially indicated he would look to switch between Lunin and loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga as the campaign intensified.
Both players replace the injured first choice Thibaut Courtoisbut Lunin stormed ahead of Kepa, and kept his place as Courtois near a return.
Ancelotti could look to bring Courtois back before the end of the campaign, but Lunin still has a decision to make about his own career.
He will return to a deputy role next season, with his Los Blancos contract set to expire in 2025, amid strong links with a summer exit.
According to the latest from BrandReal Madrid are offering him a new deal, but the final decision will be made by Lunin, as the club is unlikely to make firm guarantees on playing time in 2024/25.
