Arsenal defender Ben White isn't even in England's top three right-backs amid a possible return to international football.
That is the opinion of the ex-Chelsea and the Aston Villa star Andy Townsend amid reports that White is considering a return to the Three Lions following the departure of Gareth Southgate.

“I think Trent (Alexander-Arnold) is a lot better than White for me.”
O'Hara seemed surprised by Townsend's latest comment, who insisted White had a brilliant season. Arsenal.
Townsend continued: “He played very, very well and he's got that. I'm not denying the fact that he's a good player, Jamie.
“If England, after what we've seen this summer, are looking to move forward and find other dimensions to get over the line in a competition, I don't think it will be by playing Ben White at right-back, I don't think he's that type of player.
“I think it's something else, so I'm not sure I'm above those guys anyway.”
White had a great season with Arsenal last season and was an important part of Mikel ArtetaThe defensive line of the team that conceded the fewest goals (29).
The former Brighton star also forged a brilliant connection with Bukayo Saka on the right side, contributing four goals and four assists in 37 Premier League games.
Walker and Alexander-Arnold also enjoyed fine seasons, winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup at Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.
James, meanwhile, endured a difficult campaign at Chelsea, where another injury-plagued season meant he only played ten times in the Premier League.
