Ange Postecoglou has come under fire from Tottenham fans, who have dubbed him “Ange Poste-noclue”.
Spurs suffered a derby misery as they fell 1-0 to their rivals. Arsenal who achieved their third consecutive victory on the Tottenham field.
Postecoglou grabbed headlines after the match for His thorny interview in which he said that Tottenham would win a trophy this season.
But according to a Tottenham fan named GJ, the Australian manager should be worrying about getting results rather than boasting about his achievements.
Speaking on talkSPORT's Final Word show, GJ said: “I've been saying the same thing about Ange Poste-noclue for months. He's a fraud and he's been exposed.
“I call him the Australian Ossie Ardiles, the Australian Ossie, because he has crazy, hard-hitting tactics that are very easy to absorb and counter.
“I'm fed up with him avoiding the issue, like when we lost to Manchester City last season and he tried to blame the fans and said 'I'm a winner, wherever I go I win and these fans want us to lose to Arsenal. Don't worry about the fans, mate, worry about what happens on the pitch!'”
“Yesterday he said that he doesn't give importance to derbies and that he treats all matches equally and he said that he is a winner. Are you a winner? What have you won? Mickey Mouse trophies!”
These opinions were echoed in The Sports Breakfast by a Spurs fan called John, who said: “The general problem is Daniel Levy But Postecoglou is out of their reach.
“He has a way of playing and he will not adapt or change his style. The most worrying thing is that if we suffer more injuries, he will continue to play with this style, which will leave us more exposed.
“We had (Lucas) Bergvall and Archie Gray on the bench and Levy did everything he could to bring all the boys on. Why didn’t he play them?”
“He brought in Werner, who is bankrupt, he brought in the boys!
“Bergvall is exactly the player we needed to spark things up, but he opted for Werner, who can't contribute anything.
“He'll be gone by Christmas, I assure you.
“That’s the thing about Tottenham: we could win on Wednesday against Coventry and we probably will win next weekend and the easily fooled will say we come back and score goals but the fact is we remain vulnerable because of the way they play.”
Lucas Bergvall agreed to join the club last January in an £8.5million deal, and Spurs snatched him up. Under the nose of Barcelona.
The Swede remained at Djurgarden, impressing despite having already made three appearances for the senior team.
Meanwhile, Gray was A £40m Leeds United acquisition This summer.
Both players have yet to start a match, but have made three and two substitute appearances respectively.
Tottenham's next game is against Coventry in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, a clash that will be broadcast live on talkSPORT 2.
