Aston Villa Women can confirm that Anna Leat has left the club by mutual consent.
After Leat expressed her desire to be closer to her family in New Zealand, the club wished not to stand in her way.
The New Zealand international joined Villa in the summer of 2022 and went on to make 22 appearances in all competitions.
She became an immediate favourite amongst the fans with her penalty-shootout heroics against Manchester United in what was a memorable debut.
