The Dutchman is ready to take up his new position in a few days. Liverpool have recently confirmed the signing of Slot from Feyenoord, with his official appointment scheduled for June 1. Upon taking over, the 45-year-old faces the challenge of proving that he is a capable successor to Jurgen Klopp. There has been much speculation about which players he might bring with him to Anfield.

One of Liverpool's targets is their former AZ protégé Teun Koopmeiners, while the likes of Feyenoord's Lutsharel Geertruida and Justin Bijlow have also been linked with a move to Merseyside recently. However, Slot's initial deal with Liverpool may not involve a new signing after all.

According to TEAMtalk, Conor Bradley could soon sign a new contract with Liverpool, despite recently extending his contract until 2027. The club is impressed with his performance, especially as backup to Trent Alexander-Arnold, and plans to offer him an improved contract. Bradley's good form during the spring, when he replaced Alexander-Arnold, endeared him to fans, earning him a goal and six assists. Although he faced some physical problems towards the end of the season and the return of Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool still intend to reward him with a wage increase, making his contract renewal a priority this summer for the club.
