Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay confirmed on Monday evening that he will negotiate with other clubs if Mikel Merino asks him. He also revealed that Merino already had offers on the table, and it looks like Arsenal have the chance to make a move for him.
Two weeks ago, Atletico Madrid moved for him when they sealed the deal for defender Robin Le Normand, but did not receive a positive response from the 27-year-old. That left Barcelona and Arsenal leading the race for Merino, but then Sport he said the Catalan side would renew their interest in Merino, leaving the Gunners with a free run to him.
RB Leipzig continues to refer to the price of 60 million euros of Dani Olmo. They don't seem willing to part with him below that rate. @martinezferran

Arsenal have renewed talks with the Merino camp last week after concluding an agreement for Riccardo Calafiori. Mikel Arteta's side will likely be able to secure him for a cut price, with just one year left on his deal, with previous figures reported to be around €25-30m.
