“Gabby will undergo surgery in the coming days and will soon begin her recovery and rehabilitation program.

“We will continue to keep everyone informed about Gabby’s recovery, and everyone at the club will be fully focused on supporting Gabby to ensure she is back to full fitness as soon as possible.”

It is the second time that the Brazilian suffers an injury of this type after damaging his right knee during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

However, this latest injury has affected his left knee, so it is not a recurrence.
