According to the Turkish media Sok Newspaper, Arsenal are preparing a formal offer to sign Galatasaray Baris winger Alper Yilmaz during the current transfer window.
The Gunners are looking to add more quality and depth in the final third of the pitch and could prioritise a new right winger. Reiss Nelson has struggled to provide enough support to Bukayo Saka on paper and Arsenal need a better option to fight for the Premier league title next season.
Sok Newspaper The London giants are reportedly considering a £17m bid for Yilmaz, who had a fantastic year for club and country. The Turkish star was already valued at £26m by the Super League champions, but they have lowered their price to invite bids for his transfer this month.
Arsenal are keen to speed up negotiations to sign the versatile striker, but they are not alone in their pursuit. The Gunners could face competition from their London rivals West Ham United.
