The London giants are searching for an elite centre-forward and have been linked with Gyokeres in recent weeks. It is now reported by News Diary that Arsenal are “very impressed” by their scouting mission for the 25-year-old.
Gyokeres will almost certainly leave Sporting after leading them to the Portuguese league title. He first division could be the next destination for the former Coventry City striker, who has an £86million release clause in his contract.

Gyokeres had a great season in the Championship with Coventry last season, where he recorded 22 goals and 12 assists in 50 games.
