Ashley Young says he wants to play for Everton for one more season before his current contract expires.

The former Manchester United player signed for the candies last summer on a one-year deal after leaving Aston Villa as a free agent.

“My contract ends at the end of June, but I spoke to the coach and we had a quick conversation about staying one more season,” he said on Drive. “Now all that remains is to finalize the final details for next season.”

“But I think we showed everyone on the outside that the togetherness we have as a team is something you just can't buy, you just can't have that. As a team, everyone sticks together.
