Aston Villa star Leon Bailey explains why he would consider swapping potential Champions League football for mid-table Chelsea

Despite being fourth in the Premier League, Leon Bailey admitted he could be tempted to move to a “bigger” team.

The Jamaican winger only signed a new contract with Aston Villa in February, having been rewarded for a good season in the Midlands.

“It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League and now I am.

“Who wouldn't want to go to a huge team? Especially coming from Jamaica, do you know how important that is to the country? Especially being who I am too.

“More light would shine and that has been my focus when I am abroad. It is using my platform to shed light on the country and young talents. It is difficult for us Jamaicans to even dream of reaching Europe.

“I don't know how to answer that question, but I would have to see it in the moment.”

He added: “I have really enjoyed my football and I am very focused on Aston Villa having one of the best seasons of my career.
