Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente gives funny reaction to disallowed goal against Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente was all smiles and laughter on Sunday night after grabbing a 93rd minute equalizer against his former club in the Madrid derby. He caused a lot of fun with his answers even regarding Stefan Savic's disallowed goal.
Los Rojiblancos thought they had an equalizer early in the second half when Savic headed home from a corner, but Saul Niguez was adjudged to be obstructing Andriy Lunin's line of sight. Much to the chagrin of the Atletico Madrid players, included Antoine Griezmannwho simply posted a couple of smiley faces on social media after the game.

After the match Llorente was interviewed by Movistar +, and was asked about the goal.
Llorente: “I don't know the goal, what did they call it?”
Isabel Forner: “Offside”.
ML: “I have no idea. Was it?”
IF: “I don't want to stick my neck out.”
ML: “Well, neither do I (laughs).”
“It was a strange one for us, I don't think an offside from a corner has ever been seen before. They said that Lunin was in the goal, I have to look. They don't know the rules that well. .”
“Everyone makes mistakes.”

After the game, speaking in the mix-up area, Llorente suggested that Lunin being in goal might have made his position irrelevant, as he was technically off the field. Equally, by the letter of the law, Saul interfered with his vision of the game – although Colchoneros will undoubtedly feel that it was a tough call due to the fact that Lunin did not try to make a game on the dance, nor was he close to being able to do so.
