As reported via FT, Manchester City right-back Issa Kaboré is currently being monitored by two Bundesliga sides.
It is understood that FC Augsburg and Werder Bremen are currently the two sides showing interest in Kaboré, who was on loan at Luton Town in the Premier League last season.
However, should either of the two sides look to lure the defender to Germany, they will face competition from FC Venezia in Serie A and Stade Reims in Ligue 1.
Should the 23-year-old remain at the Etihad Stadium, then it is believed he would play a role this season, but the game time he receives would be minimal.
Therefore, a move away from Manchester would allow the Burkina Faso international to continue playing on a regular basis.
From Bremen’s perspective, they are looking for an alternative to Mitchell Weiser, while Augsburg are also struggling for squad depth, with former Borussia Dortmund defender Marius Wolf their only option after an injury to Polish defender Robert Gumny.
As of yet, it is unknown where Kaboré will be plying his trade this season, but as it stands, the Bundesliga is the right-backs likely destination.
