It's been more than four months since Ronald Araujo suffered a high-grade tear while playing for Uruguay at the Copa America. Since then, it has been on the road to recovery, and very soon, it will come to an end.

On Friday, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick revealed that Araujo should be fit to start training with the group later this weekend, following the trip to Celta Vigo on Saturday night. However, AS Diary say that he will need at least 6-8 sessions to be up to speed – and it will only be at this point that a call to the team of the match will be considered.

As a result, Barcelona have indicated their match against Mallorca (December 3) as a likely return date for Araujo, although the match against Real Betis four days later can be expected instead.

Barcelona they didn't miss Araujo too much during his absence because Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi were very impressive, although his return will undoubtedly be welcomed with open arms.
