Inside La Masia, the stock surrounding Sama Nomoko continues to grow. The 16-year-old forward, who has played a major role for Barcelona's U18s this season, showed his quality in a recent RO16 cup clash for the club's U17s, as he took the BCN Sports Academy.

Nomoko provided the spark on that occasion. The young Malian, who was called gazelle-like by Sport due to his lightning speed, he scored twice for the U17s, taking his tally for the season up to 10 goals – and has already contributed eight assists in all categories.

Barcelona officials are well aware of Nomoko's performances, and of the potential he has. Bojan Krkic, director of the Catalan giants, was present to see Nomoko's fine performance, as he keeps an eye on the academy.

La Masia continues to excite Barcelona. After the cases of Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi, players like Nomoko could be the next to make this progress. For now, he will continue his work with the U18 and U17 sides.
