Barcelona is desperately trying to secure the necessary funds to return to the 1:1 rule of the League, and one of the ways to do this is by part of the players. Saving wages would go a long way, especially when you take into account that numerous first-team players still need to register with the League, in addition to possible new signings.

One player Barcelona are desperate to move on is Clement Lenglet. The French central defender is not in Hansi Flick's plans, and another exit is being sought. The Catalans will need to make a third loan in three years, as there is not enough interest in a permanent sale.

Besiktas is very interested in signing Lenglet for the 2024-25 season, and second AS Diary, I am already negotiating with Barcelona. They are willing to pay half of the wages of 6 million euros of Lenglet per year, but without any loan fee being added on top. They are also interested in former Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso, who is currently a free agent.

These conditions proposed by Besiktas are the same Barcelona they have accepted from Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa respectively in the last two seasons. Because of this, it is likely that they will give the green light to this deal taking place.
