Barcelona are looking to bring in a left winger this summer, and Athletic Club's Nico Williams is causing a lot of excitement at Euro 2024. However, with money tight in Catalonia, and Williams unlikely to come cheap, the Blaugrana are working on lower cost alternatives.
The first to come out was Hull City's Jaden Philogene, with the Deco Sports Directorate, which would try to collect a loan with an obligation to buy based on the objectives met, a deal that reached between 20 and 23 million euros. Another of the alternatives to Luis Diaz or Williams identified is the Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.

The 19-year-old winger is growing in importance for Dortmund, and has made 34 appearances this season. An under-21 international with England, Bynoe-Gittens provided 8 assists and scored twice in those appearances, but only 16 of those were starts.
A potential cost is not mentioned by Sport, but it seems unlikely that Dortmund will be willing to let him go on the cheap. His stock is likely to continue to rise, and no doubt they see him as a real candidate to challenge Karim Adeyemi for his place on the left. He clearly has a lot of talent though.
