Barcelona are still struggling for space in their salary cap to sign players, with Dani Olmo currently unavailable for manager Hansi Flick. One of the ways to create space is through the sale of players, but the president Joan Laporta is willing to get two deals on the line away from the field.
One of those traits, what second Marco would allow them to spend €40 million more on player wages and fees, is their sponsorship deal with Nike. Talks have been going on for several months with the American sportswear brand about a new 10-year deal.

The other way forward comes from providing the last 20 million euros due to Barca Vision at the end of June, after an agreement with Aramark provides them with 40 million euros. The Madrid outlet says that Bridgeburg Invest is willing to front this money.
The Nike deal has been reported as imminent for several months, and is yet to go through. Bridgeburg Invest money is a bit more confusing – they are the holding company for Barca Vision. It is not clear how they could invest 20 million euros to buy shares in their own company.
