Barcelona have been linked with a variety of left-wingers since the start of the summer, but the most affordable in any way has been Juventus' Federico Church. The Italian winger has just one year left on his deal, and is not part of Thiago Motta's plans.
There has been plenty of speculation surrounding a potential deal, with Barcelona making a bid for the 26-year-old, although the amounts have varied by report. Matteo Moretto explained to Football España that the Blaugrana have not yet moved for Chiesa. While it is an option that they consider for the last week of the transfer market, the reality is that they have been offered the opportunity to sign him by their agent.

The representative of Church, Fali Ramadani, is currently acting as an intermediary between Barcelona and Juventus to work out if a deal could be made. Before any move, it is clear that the Catalan side will first have to solve some of their salary cap problems, especially registering Dani Olmo. At that point, they will clearly have to do some calculations on whether they have the funds to make a deal for the Church.
