According to Toni Juanmartí, Barcelona are set to make a late move for Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah.

Over the course of the summer, the transfer saga involving Bayern Munich and Die Werkself regarding Tah was well documented.

With Der Rekordmeister ultimately passing up the opportunity to sign the German international, it had appeared as though Tah would remain at the BayArena for the upcoming campaign.

However, amid new interest from Barcelona, that could be about to change.

As stated in the report, the Spanish outfit could consider a late move for the defender should Eric García leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

It is understood that Leverkusen would still listen to offers of €30 million for the 28-year-old, whose contract is set to expire in 2025.

At this stage of the window, a deal is considered difficult, but should Barcelona act quickly, then they may be able to strike a deal with the German champions.
