Barcelona's highly rated B star receives a call from Senegal

Another rising Barcelona star is set for a senior international call-up this week with the Barca B defender Michael Faye join Senegal.

Teenage centre-back Pau Cubarsi has been rewarded for his superb first-team exploits with a place in Luis de la Fuente's Spain squad.

Fellow defender Faye will now link up with Senegal in the coming days following Aliou Cisse's injury withdrawal from the panel.

Cisse will confirm the call in the coming days ahead of friendlies against Gabon and Benin this month.

Faye is highly valued in the Barcelona establishment with the club rejecting a January 9 million bid from Lens according to The sports world.

The 19-year-old only joined last summer but is already tipped for a first-team debut before the end of the campaign, having been included in matchday squads.

Barca B are currently second in the Primera Federacion (third tier) and are in the running for a potential promotion to the Segunda Division.
