Bayern Munich have two Bundesliga stars on their transfer wish list for 2025, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Der Rekordmeister already have one eye on the 2025 summer transfer window due to Désiré Doué rejected the club in order to join PSG.
Over the past few months, Bayern’s pursuit of the Frenchman has been well documented.
Despite PSG’s attempts to outbid the record champions, it had always appeared as though Bayern would eventually secure Doué’s signature, especially after completing the sales of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui to Manchester United.
Nevertheless, while Bayern prioritised the signing of Doué, the 19-year-old has decided to overlook Der Rekordmeister in favour of a move to the French capital.
This know means that though Bayern have missed out, they have saved between €50m-€60m. The club will not panic buy but instead have turned their attentions to next summer’s window.
Bayern’s Bundesliga Radar
Next summer, Bayern will prioritise the signing either Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz or RB Leipzig loanee Xavi Simons.
Wirtz has long been on Bayern’s wishlist and next summer could be the window in which is best to sign the German international.
The Bavarians were in the running to sign Simons on loan from PSG this summer, however, the Dutchman opted to return to Leipzig for another year. However, the new one-year loan does not include an option to buy.
