It has been made no secret that next summer, a number of high-profile Bayern Munich players are set to see their contracts come to an end.
The players in question are Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané, and Alphonso Davies, who are all set to see their deals expire at the end of the campaign.
However, according to kicker (via @iMiaSanMia), Der Rekordmeister have set a deadline in which they aim to renew most of the expiring deals.
As stated in the report, there is an expectation between both Neuer and Müller, as well as Bayern themselves, that an agreement over an extension will be made, and their contracts have, therefore, not been considered a priority for the club.
Nevertheless, the record champions, as previously reported, are hoping to renew the contracts of Kimmich, Davies, and Sané before they can be tempted to depart Bavaria as free agents.
This has led to Bayern deciding that they will know by the start of winter who out of the three players will be leaving and who will be staying.
There is a belief that Kimmich and Sané will reach an agreement with Bayern, but with a move to Real Madrid still in the back of Davies’ mind, it is unknown whether the Canadian international will still make lucrative demands to the Rekordmeister in order to remain at the club.
