Barcelona are currently in the market for a new left winger, and during the winter, they also looked in that area. Nothing was possible because of their financial woes, but that didn't stop the talks from happening.
Ferran Torres has decided not to go to the Olympic Games. We need to focus on Barça and be there at the beginning of the pre-season. @Luis_F_Rojo

One player who was linked with Barcelona at the time was Bryan Zaragoza. The 22-year-old had an excellent first half last season at Granada, and as he revealed to Jijantes (via MD), spoke with the Catalans before ending up in Bayern Munich for a fee of 17 million euros.
“Before signing with Bayern, there were conversations, I spoke with Barcelona. There was a possibility, but nothing was finished. What came out in the press was the reality.”
Zaragoza had a tough start to life at Bayern, although he is still fond of turning things around. It would have been a very clever sign for Barcelonaalthough there are equally attractive targets, including a certain Nico Williams.
