Aston Villa’s Vertu Trophy round of 32 clash against Blackpool has been confirmed.
The Young Lions will face the Seasiders at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday, December 17 (ko 7pm).
Josep Gombau’s Under-21s booked their place in the knockout stages as they finished runners-up in northern section Group D.
They will now face Steve Bruce’s side for a place in the last 16 of the competition, with ticket details for the clash to be confirmed shortly.
Please note, due to Villa’s progression in the EFL Trophy, our Premier League 2 encounter against Wolverhampton Wanderers will now take place at Bodymoor Heath on Saturday, December 14 (ko 12noon).
