Aston Villa is pleased to announce that Lamare Bogarde has signed a new contract with the club.
Comfortable playing in defence or in midfield, the 20-year-old was part of Unai Emery’s squad for the recent pre-season tour of the USA.
He joined Villa from Feyenoord in his native Netherlands in 2020 and made his first team debut in an FA Cup Third Round tie against Liverpool in January 2021.
Bogarde finished that season by helping Villa win the FA Youth Cup and has since enjoyed a loan spell with Bristol Rovers in 2023.
