As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund are in advanced talks with Lyon’s Rayan Cherki.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been offered a long-term contract with BVB and is open to joining the Bundesliga club.
The club’s new head coach, Nuri Sahin, is keen on getting the deal done as he looks to shape the squad in his vision.
Currently, there has been no agreement between both Lyon and BVB, talks are set to follow soon.
The French U23 international came through the academy at Lyon and has been with the first team since January 2020.
Despite only being 21, Cherki has already played 116 times in Ligue, scoring 6 goals and assisting 16 times.
The youngster’s record in the Coupe de France is more impressive, scoring 9 and assisting on 6 occasions in just 17 matches.
