Borussia Dortmund host St. Pauli at the Westfalenstadion tonight as Nuri Şahin’s side look to extend their incredible home run on Friday’s which stretches back over 20 years.

But Şahin will have to do so without two key players. Yan Couto and Karim Adeyemi are both sidelined, the former of which started in the defeat against Union Berlin prior to the international break. The Brazilian’s absence is likely to see Julian Ryerson switch to right-back, with Ramy Bensebaini coming into the starting lineup at left-back.

Maximilian Beier also returned home early from the international break due to a stomach bug and it remains to be seen as to whether he will feature, but Şahin did confirm that Serhou Guirassy would start for Die Schwarzgelben. In the absence of Adeyemi and Beier, Marcel Sabitzer should come back into the squad, but in an attacking position, something in which the Austrian has been critical of, of late.

Donyell Malen would also be an option should Şahin decide against starting Jamie Gittens.
