Bournemouth identify forgotten Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as alternative to Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale
Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is on Bournemouth's radar for a possible loan move, talkSPORT understands.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Bluesand is not in the plans of coach Enzo Maresca.
Kepa He is one of several Chelsea stars training away from the first team alongside Raheem Sterling, Romelu Lukaku, Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, where he made 20 appearances in all competitions, winning a LaLiga title as well as the Champions League and Spanish Super Cup.
It is believed that talks have been held between the Cherries and the giants of West London.
However, there are complications that need to be resolved before Kepa can move to the Vitality Stadium, where he would compete with Neto for a starting place.
With just a year left on his contract, Chelsea want him to sign a new deal to protect themselves from losing him on a free transfer, having spent £72m when they signed him.
They would like Kepa to accept the terms of a contract with a reduced price.
But Bournemouth would require Chelsea to make a significant contribution to his wages, or reduce it enough to cover it in full.
Along with Kepa, Andoni Iraola is also considering a move to Real Madrid. Arsenalby Aaron Ramsdale.
Although it is understood that Kepa remains Bournemouth's main target.
England international Ramsdale made 37 Premier League appearances for the south coast side during the 2019/20 season.
Like Kepa, Ramsdale He has fallen down the pecking order and his future at the Emirates is uncertain.
Whether Arsenal will allow Ramsdale to go out on loan remains to be seen.
The title contenders have already… felled a loan from Dutch team Ajax.
The wolves recently presented a loan movement on its own to Ramsdale, which includes a purchase option.
As things stand, Wolves' offer to Arsenal remains on the table, with the north Londoners asking for a fee in the region of £25m.
