And in the final encounter of the day, Crystal Palace and Manchester United played out a thrilling 0-0 draw in a match that somehow remained goalless at Selhurst Park.

Speaking about his improved form, former Chelsea defender Cundy said: “He had a tough week last week, he came in for some criticism after the north London derby.
“He scored the winner in midweek and today he scores another goal. He has had a tough and bumpy road at Spurs.”
Former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara added: “Fair play to Brennan Johnson, he got some criticism and it affected him, he deleted his Instagram.
“But you know what? Focus on your football and that's the best way to answer your critics, score goals and get the job done, so let's be fair to him.”
Luis Diaz

Cundy added: “They're not getting any of that, they're not getting free-flowing attacking football, they're not getting any clean sheets or very few, there are no results.
“Today in the first half, for the first 25-30 minutes, they were a disgrace, they didn't even give Chelsea a chance.”
Before stating: “They are on the back of a humiliating home defeat to Chelsea, he (Lopetegui) needs to put that right quickly, because things are not going well for West Ham at the moment.”
