Brentford will refuse to sell England striker Ivan Toney for less than £60m, talkSPORT understands.
The Bees previously slapped a Asking price of £80 million for the center forward in January, as they desperately sought to retain the player.
Arsenal They have held initial discussions with Toney's representatives, but at this stage they do not plan to pursue their interest further.
manchester united have also included toney on his target list, but the 28-year-old's price tag is likely to pose a significant barrier.
The Red Devils are also believed to be admirers of Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee and Lille hitman Jonathan David.
Zirkzee, whose contract has a £34m release clause, is attracting interest from a host of European clubs, while David and Toney will enter the final 12 months of their existing deals.
United are keen to add more firepower to their attack to complement Rasmus Hojlund, who is still getting to grips with English football.
The Danish international is now the only recognized striker at the club due to the imminent departure of Anthony Martial, while previous target Benjamin Sesko is expected sign a new agreement at RB Leipzig.
Club bosses will press ahead with transfer deals after confirming that boss Erik ten Hag will continue in his position following a review of the team's performance during the 2023/24 campaign.

Speaking to talkSPORT ahead of England's Euro 2024 opener against Serbia, Toney said: “I'm a Brentford player, I've got a year left. I'm going to take part in a big tournament and that's my main focus now.
“After this I will return to Brentford and continue to be a Brentford player.”
Before adding: “It's good to be linked with other clubs, but I've had disappointments in the past and nothing is done until it's done.
“As I said, I'm still a Brentford player and I have to focus on doing well for next season, so that's the main thing.
“If a big move were to happen, I would be prepared anyway.
“But like I said, I have to stay focused and not let other things and other noises take over and just focus on what I have to do.”
Toney returned to action in January following an eight-month suspension for 232 breaches of the Football Association's betting rules.
