Brighton have won the race to sign Amario Cozier-Duberry, who has been described as the “next Bukayo Saka”.

Cozier-Duberry is likely to join Brighton's academy with a view to breaking into the first team.

The Londoner had been at Arsenal since 2019, joining their Hale End academy at the age of 14.

He never played for the Gunners despite Wilshere's praise, although he did make the squad on three occasions.

Speaking to Arsenal's website last year, the youngster confessed that he idolised Thierry Henry and Arjen Robben.

He said: “I've been an Arsenal fan since I was young and looked up to players like Thierry Henry, one of the best to ever play the game.

“But I also admired Arjen Robben, who had a magic left foot and an unstoppable inside-cut move.”
