New images have shown the heartbreaking moment Diogo Jota injured his knee against Brentford.

The Portuguese star's afternoon ended abruptly against the Bees when he clashed with Christian Norgaard.

After colliding in mid-air, Norgaard accidentally landed on the Liverpool star's leg, causing it to bend in a way that looked very painful.

After receiving treatment on the field, Jota attempted to get up, but immediately fell to the grass before being stretchered off the field.

Jurgen Klopp couldn't believe what he was seeing as He watched with his hands on his head.

Jota wasn't the only injury concern on the day either, with Curtis Jones coming off with an ankle problem and Darwin Nunez being taken off at half-time.

Speaking about the injuries, Klopp said: “It's mixed emotions because we lost players, we don't know how bad they are, but it's not looking very good for either of us.

“We are having bad luck.” I think it was a blow to Curtis's leg and we'll see. It was a challenge with Diogo.

“Darwin, we weren't sure if he had something or not, so we decided at halftime to bring in Cody (Gakpo), which was a good idea.”

With the Carabao Cup final clash with Chelsea closing in, Liverpool long list of injured It will certainly be a cause for concern.
