Bukayo Saka joins Arsenal's elite club alongside Thierry Henry and has a hand in Kai Havertz's goal
Bukayo Saka's assist in the 1-1 draw with Brighton puts him in an elite club alongside Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The England superstar now has an assist in each of the first three games of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
He is only the second Gunners player to achieve the feat after Henry did it in the title-winning 2004/05 campaign 20 years ago.
Kai Havertz was the beneficiary against Brighton as Mikel Arteta's side took the lead late in the first half.
Saka inexplicably got the better of Seagulls defender Lewis Dunk with an aerial pass and slotted past Havertz with a quick thought.
Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen ran off his line, leaving Havertz with the simple task of chipping in from 20 yards.
Arsenal equalised in the second half after a controversial red card for Declan Rice.
The Gunners midfielder received a second yellow card after delaying the restart by kicking the ball.
João Pedro equalised for Brighton moments later and the match ended in a draw.
It was the second time Saka and Havertz have combined to score a goal this season after the German's header against Wolves.
Saka, who also scored in that match, again turned creator to assist Thomas Partey's goal against Aston Villa.
Speaking after the Englishman's goal against Wolves, Arteta suggested Saka is becoming unstoppable.

He said: “With good players it's like that. You know, with (Lionel) Messi, I know he's going to come here and put the ball there because he does it all the time, that's the quality of the players.
“Saka is amazing. There are not many players like him in the world and he is still very young. He can improve. It is very rare to see a young player like him playing every week at the highest level.”
Although the goal put Saka in the history books, former England defender Stuart Pearce was left baffled by Dunk's defending.
He told talkSPORT: “I don't know what Dunk was doing. He just headed the ball away!”
However, Dunk would redeem himself in the second half, making an incisive pass for Yankuba Minteh, whose rebounded shot fell to Pedro for the score.
