Toni Kroos is not the only Real Madrid player who will make his final appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday when Real Betis come to town. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was recently relegated to third choice following the return of Thibaut Courtois, will also leave in the summer, but not before playing for one last time.
Ace for AS Diary, Carlo Ancelotti plans to give Kepa a few minutes towards the end of the Betis game. Courtois is likely to start to be in the goal of the Champions League final, but the idea is that the Chelsea loanee has a farewell appearance. However, it could be scrapped depending on the game situation.
Kepa signed on a season-long loan last summer after Courtois' ACL injury, and although he was number one for the first few months, he lost the place to Andriy Lunin shortly before the end of the 2023.
It remains to be seen where Kepa will end up next season as he is unlikely to stay at Chelsea. One thing is for sure that it will not come back Real Madrid.
