Carlo Ancelotti to meet Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to ask for the January move

Real Madrid is suffering from injuries again in the first half of this season, but the problems are getting worse. David Alaba is not expected to return until January, and Dani Carvajal being sidelined leaves only Lucas Vazquez as a natural alternative on the right, leaving him. Carlo Ancelotti feel a little different in hindsight.

After Los Blancos' victory against Villarreal, and with Carvajal's injury confirmed at the moment as the end of the season, Marco say that Carlo Ancelotti met with General Manager Jose Angel Sanchez and Sporting Director Santiago Solari to discuss his options. The trio analyzed their options in the academy and in the team, going position by position where they stand in terms of injuries and strength in depth.

It is no longer a secret that Ancelotti feels that his team is one or two shortly after Leny Yoro went to Manchester United instead of the Spanish capital, and now the three agree that the team could do to be strengthened. I feel that the goals this season are in danger if he does not act.

Ancelotti, Solari and Sanchez met with the president Florentino Perez to encourage action in January, but the head of Real Madrid is not convinced that he should move for someone in the winter window. Real Madrid rarely did that in January, and it will take some convincing to change the strategy.

Real Madrid currently only have three central defenders available in Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger and Jesus Vallejo, while Vazquez is their only right back. It would certainly be an aberration to see a major club rely primarily on a single defender to cover a position for the majority of a long season, and Vazquez is already 33 years old. That said, Perez can point to last season, when improvisation was a friend of Ancelotti at times.
