Diego Carlos returned to Aston Villa’s starting line-up for the clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Brazilian defender was named in Unai Emery’s XI for the Premier League encounter at Villa Park, with Lamare Bogarde included among the substitutes.
It represented the sole change from Tuesday’s 3-0 victory over BSC Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League.
Manager Emery had previously kept faith with an unchanged line-up for the last three matches in all competitions.
