James Rodriguez is keen to return to Europe, and four years after leaving Real Madrid, he could be preparing for a return to La Liga – no less than three clubs are showing interest in his services.
As reported by COPE (via MD), Celtic Vigo they are pushing their hardest to sign Rodriguez, who is currently on the books at Brazilian side Sao Paulo. A two-year contract has already been presented to the 33-year-old, who received the Player of the Tournament award at the 2024 Copa America.
The Real Betis they also made an offer for Rodriguez, according to the report. However, they are currently unable to sign him due to Fair Play financial issues, but once those are sorted, they will be free to register him with the League.
Atletico Madrid they are also keen on Rodriguez, but for now, they have not made a move to sign the Colombian playmaker. It will be very interesting to see if he makes a return to La Liga this summer – it would be magic, either way.
