Celta Vigo still do not know if the player is able to face Real Madrid as the decision of the Committee is still awaited

On Saturday evening, Celta Vigo will welcome reigning champions Real Madrid to Balaidos for their MD10 match in the 2024-25 La Liga season. The hosts will be without Iago Aspas through suspension, although it is yet to be determined whether Ilaix Moriba will also be missing out for Claudio Giraldez's side.

Moriba and Aspas were both sent off for two yellow cards during the win in Las Palmas before the international break. In the case of the first, the initial appeal was originally rejected, before a follow-up complaint was presented to the Appeals Committee.

Although there are almost two weeks from the match against Las Palmas, and less than 48 hours until the kick-off in Vigo, Celta is still not hearing an answer from the Committee, as per AS Diary.

It means Giraldez still doesn't know if he can count on Moriba on Saturday. Celtic they will hope so as they aim to continue their strong home form.
