Celta Vigo will have a key player available for the Real Madrid clash

Celta Vigo will be hoping to take advantage of their uncertainty when they face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey on Thursday, although that will be much easier said than done. Claudio Giraldez will be without the services of talismanic figure Iago Aspas, although there is at least one piece of good news for the Galicians.

Marcos Alonso, who has established himself as a regular starter since arriving last summer after his Barcelona contract expired, was a doubt for the trip to the Santiago Bernabeu after sustaining an injury to the ankle, though Marco say that he will be available after overcoming that problem.

If he was at 100%, Alonso will almost certainly be a starter Celtic against Real Madrid. He and his fellow defenders will be tasked with shutting down Los Blancos' dangerous attacking players such as Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham (if given the nod by Carlo Ancelotti).
