After their 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend, Bayern Munich headed into the game against Aston Villa with no casualties from the clash.
The only doubt was Harry Kane who was subbed off at the weekend with a foot injury sustained after Amine Adli’s follow through on a pass. However, the Englishman returned to training at the beginning of the week and will be fit enough to start.
Villa provides a different challenge to Leverkusen so there could be changes at right-back, where Raphaël Guerreiro played at the weekend, in midfield with João Palhinha potentially coming in if Joshua Kimmich is moved to right-back. While the wings could also see rotation with Kingsley Coman or Leroy Sané potentially featuring after coming off of the bench on Saturday.
Rotation will be key for Bayern as they have a tough fixture away against Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend. Die Adler has always proven to be a difficult side for Bayern in recent seasons.
Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Aston Villa:
Manuel Neuer – Raphaël Guerreiro, Dayot Upamecano, Min-Jae Kim, Alphonso Davies – Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic – Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry – Harry Kane
