Chelsea agree deal between Kiernan Dewsbury and Hall after hijacking Brighton move for Leicester star
Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement for Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, talkSPORT understands.
The 25-year-old was instrumental in the Foxes He was promoted back to the Premier League last season, scoring 12 goals and assisting 14 in 44 games.
Dewsbury-Hall has been at Leicester since the age of eight but is on course to move away from the King Power Stadium in the summer.
As talkSPORT reported, Brighton were interested in signing him after a failed move during the January transfer window.
But it is Chelsea who have taken the first step, with Enzo Maresca eager to reunite with his former star.
Chelsea are understood to have agreed a £30m contract.

Dewsbury-Hall has appeared 129 times for Leicester in all competitions, with his senior debut coming in January 2020.
He was selected in the 2023/24 Championship Team of the Season and was named Foxes Fans and Players Player of the Season.
In their Championship-winning campaign, Dewsbury-Hall made 49 appearances for Maresca, who has now moved to Stamford Bridge.
The Italian's arrival at Chelsea as the new coach was confirmed at the beginning of June.
Given the success Maresca had with Dewsbury-Hall, it may not be a surprise to see the pair potentially working together again.
Chelsea have already confirmed two signings this summer, with centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo the first on a free transfer.
The Blues also announced that they have reached an agreement with Brazilian side Palmeiras for Estevao Willian, who will join next summer.
