Bayern Munich's interest in Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is serious, talkSPORT understands.

Bayern have already held talks with Olise's advisers about activating the release clause of around £60m in his Palace contract.

Palace will not want to lose their star talent but know the funds would give boss Oliver Glasner an opportunity to invest more in the team.

Olise inspired the Eagles to a magnificent late-season run that saw them win six of their final seven games, including comprehensive victories over LiverpoolNewcastle and Manchester United.

Newcastle are also reported to have an interest in Olise but will need to offload players before making any move due to the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules.

ChelseaHowever, they hope their bargaining chip of ensuring Olise does not have to uproot from London will be enough to stave off competition for her signature.
