Barcelona strike Marc Guiu is on the way to Chelsea after passing his medical with the Blues, who activated his €6 million release clause. However, I could catch a flight back to Spain quite quickly.
According to Sport, Sevilla have a good chance of getting him on loan next season, as Guiu looks for minutes for next season, and a lot of competition for places at Chelsea. Recently appointed Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta knows Guiu from his time at the academy, and the Nervionenses are said to be interested in the 18-year-old even before Chelsea appeared on the scene.

Unless Barcelona convinced Guiu to stay at Barca Atletic or on the fringes of the first team as a third number nine behind Robert Lewandowski and Vitor Roque, he would likely have been out on loan this season anyway. At first glance, Sevilla is not the easiest place to go, but the presence of Garcia Pimienta changes the outlook of a potential loan.
