When asked about the sign and any perception that Chelsea players are not working hard enough, Gallagher said: “We are definitely putting in the effort.”
“I know how much it means to all the boys. It is a very young team and without much experience as a team in the Premier League.
“We've had a lot of ups and downs and we're still improving as a team to get to the next level and today was one of those days where we weren't even close to getting there.
“But we will also look at performance and where we can improve and move forward.”
