Mauricio Pochettino will meet Chelsea's owners today to discuss this month's transfer business.
Things have been relatively quiet for Chelsea during the first week of the winter window, with only a couple of loan moves and withdrawals to report and underway, as well as a possible outbound development with Ian Maatsen on the cards.
And Blues boss Pochettino admitted he hasn't even spoken to the owners yet about bringing in new players, but intends to chat to them today.
Quoted by Football London, Pochettino said: “At the moment we are not talking about bringing in players. I saw Behdad here in the manager's room with Paul and Laurence. “I think tomorrow we are going to chat because we will be at the training ground.”
These comments came after Chelsea beat Preston 4-0 in the FA Cup third round at Stamford Bridge last night.
We're pretty sure Chelsea are likely to do some business this month along with departures, with a striker being the most talked about potential incoming that could happen.
