Torino are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, talkSPORT understands.
The blues They are willing to offload the Italian, who signed a £16million deal from Inter Milan in 2022, to help trim down their squad.
Casadei has only played 11 Premier League games for Chelsea, all of them coming off the bench as a substitute.
He has played on loan at Reading and Leicester City during his time at Stamford Bridge, but could leave in January.
A move to Torino would see Casadei return to Italy in Serie A, although he did not feature in the league during his time at Inter.
The 21-year-old would join former Premier League striker Che Adams at the club following his summer move from Southampton.
Chelsea are also understood to be open to selling former Aston Villa star Carney Chukwuemeka if his £40m release clause is met.
The midfielder swapped Birmingham for London in 2022 and has played 32 times for the club, scoring two goals.
Chukwuemeka missed much of last season with a knee injury he suffered in the 3-1 loss to West Ham after scoring.
He has made just five appearances for Chelsea this season and has not been named in any of their Premier League teams.
talkSPORT reported in August that Barcelona is long time admirers of Chukwuemeka alongside Premier League and European teams.
Chelsea have great competition for midfield spots this season with Enzo Maresca.
Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández have been consistent starters for the Blues, and Romeo Lavia has also gained minutes.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was a summer acquisition from Leicester, and fellow newcomer Renato Veiga was also able to play as a midfielder.
Casadei and Chukwuemeka may not be the only departures in January, with Ben Chilwell potentially facing the end of his time at Chelsea.
The left-back, who won the Champions League with the club in 2021, was told in the summer that he was not part of Maresca's plans.
Chelsea could look to strengthen in the January transfer window as they prepare for a packed second half of the season.
Maresca's side are fourth in the Premier League following their 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town on Monday night.
