Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez will escape FA ban for racist chanting, but Argentine midfielder could still be suspended
Enzo Fernandez is on the verge of escaping an FA ban for his racist chanting, talkSPORT has learned.
Chelsea midfielder sparked a stir after filming himself singing a racist and derogatory song after Argentina's victory over Colombia in the Copa América in July.
The song refers to the number of French players of African descent. A translated version reads: “They play for France, but their parents are from Angola. Their mother is from Cameroon, while their father is from Nigeria. But their passport says French.”
