Unlike Hiroki Ito, Waldemar Anton and Serhou Guirassy, Chris Führich is expected to remain at Stuttgart following the expiry of his reported €22m exit clause. That is unless any potential suitor offers a considerable fee for the German midfielder but as reported by Kicker, unlike the aforementioned trio, there’s been no concrete interest in Führich.
Führich has a contract with Stuttgart until 2026, and enjoyed his best season in the Bundesliga to date with eight goals and seven assists in 34 games for the Swabian club. But despite loose interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, neither advanced on that, and there has been little to no interest from English clubs.
The 26-year-old’s performances for Stuttgart last season earned the player a place in Julian Nagelsmann’s Euro 2024 squad, but he played just eight minutes across Germany’s five games.
But with six weeks remaining in the transfer window, you can never rule anything out but as of now, Führich appears to be staying in Stuttgart.
